Welcome to a Masters of Tea! Throughout the next year, I will be recording how many cups of tea it takes me to finish my first Masters Degree. During the 12 months, I’ll be taking you through the life of an international graduate student in London, the museums I’ll visit, and of course the tea rooms. We’ll see if I become anaemic from the caffeine intake, but I will keep you updated throughout the whole process.

As a life long tea drinker who finally moved to the UK, I am very happy I am in the land of tea now. Away from the ‘microwaving’ blasphemy, the syrupy iced tea, and the reality that Bubble Tea or Arizona usually has no actual tea in it. And so with my caffeine addiction ready, my masks acquired and the online textbooks downloaded, I am ready to start this new school year.

Here comes 17th Grade!

“A hardened and shameless tea-drinker, who has, for twenty years, diluted his meals with only the infusion of this fascinating plant; whose kettle has scarcely time to cool; who with tea amuses the evening, with tea solaces the midnight, and with tea, welcomes the morning.”

-Samuel Johnson
