Welcome finally to some education!

This to-go mug (one of the best gifts from a best friend who was tired of hearing me complain about the existing one I had) travelled with me across the pond (thanks parentals for sending it when it wouldn’t fit).

This travel mug is awesome for the travelling student, or workers. With a heat level of 6 hours, I can walk to campus and the cup still be hot- sometimes too hot, I will say I have burned my tongue a fair few times- don’t really care.

My first day on campus, I studied in the student centre getting ready for next week- the first full week of classes in grad school. Although there are new regulations with Covid such as limiting the number of people allowed in, and a one way walking system, I’m glad that these spaces are still open. Studying is definitely easier when you’re surrounded by others going through the same things, and caffeine of course. With my accessory combination of Tetley Tea and handsani (a necessity in these times), I’m ready for sitting in a room with other nervous first timers, and old-hat PhDer’s. Imposter syndrome here I come!
