The day before the year somewhat starts. Tomorrow, the meetings started for orientation, or ‘induction’, which I then found out “could have been an email.” So the compass is out to help do some more tea art, and distract for the moment that the semester will be commencing, and it definitely snuck up on me.
For this cup, you may notice the ‘stuff’ that looks less like tea in this cup. That is from both the UK water, and the pot itself. The pot came with a loose leaf tea sieve that could be taken out, and so I did, since I’m using the modern marvel of tea bags, but after this cup, I began using it since I was worried the bags were breaking. Turns out I’m just not used to the water here, and it just leaves a little residue in the pot itself. Although- it may be the kettle- Russell Hobbes, am I right? Now that I have the tea pot though, I am focusing less on taking a photo of every cup, hence the jump in cup count- don’t worry fans- I’ll fix that.
