HAPPY FIRST DAY OF 17th GRADE!!

Wow I simultaneously feel old and way too young for this part of my life. At least there was some sun, a good cup of Tetley and an actually put-together outfit- the first in a few days. And although I wasn’t allowed to drink my tea during class with the mask rules in the department building, it was still hot for the walk home. And with the beginning of having at least one class in person, I’m able to explore my London commute a bit more. I’ve discovered a new path around Regents Canal ending behind Kings Cross Station. I got a job interview while on my ‘morning commute’, I found a new Ethiopian restaurant I want to try, and I located the closest Five Guys and KFC- dangerous territory if I wasn’t a vegetarian.

But as I am still behind on these posts, my semester (or term in this country) has been up and running for a while- but this was the tea of the bright-eyed, ready-to-study, kid who is definitely over her head, but living it up in London as much as is possible in this time period.
