This is proof that I’m not just filling my body with caffeine for no reason. In Italy there’s this unwritten rule that you shouldn’t drink coffee after lunch, but luckily that rule doesn’t apply to tea consumption. Here I am drinking probably my 2nd cup through a class on funerary archaeology. Very interesting information, including burial practices from around the world and what we can learn about the cultural background of a community, but attention for a two hour class at 4pm needs some help.
Some Tetley in my pot next to me, making sure that when I pour it, no drops end up on my class notes. This is before the time change, and so the slight sun is still gracing the class with its presence, but hindsight is 20/20, and I know that this is temporary. Here’s to halfway through the semester.
