Saturday 7 November

Moving the tea over to the newly acquired Christmas mug (thank you Flying Tiger Copenhagen) we’re starting off November strong. During this Reading week, a new academic phenomena for me, I probably have worked less than I should have, but getting a bit of productivity and some walks around the building before it gets too cold.

On a food note again, because food keeps us going, this was the first time I tried fried eggs in my life.

Fried eggs, and Christmas mug. All rights reserved, 2020.

Sometimes you only want the eggs, and don’t want to wait for the water to boil, and then the eggs to soft boil. So I tried to do it with the Richmond meatless sausages, and some seeded toast. I did manage to not stick the egg to the pan, and the yolk was still very soft with some paprika sprinkled on top, but I have come to the conclusion that fried eggs are the worst eggs- at me if you’d like. But the white becomes very slimy, and the yolk of poached eggs is superior. 2/10 would recommend for cooking eggs. The 2 is only for the fact that it is very quick.
