Tuesday 10 November

Sometimes you just need to have a cuppa with a friend. Some late night talks with the gal pal and lovely British biscuits. Living in a ‘dorm’ in England is definitely a different experience, with about 300 of us in one building, my flat specifically with 9 of us at one point. But with so many people it means that there are always some snacks hanging about on the counter. So after a day out we came back for a chat and some nighttime tea.

Did we actually go to bed after our chat? Most likely not, but to ere is to be a graduate student in a pandemic. For all you grad students struggling a bit with your sleep schedules, I suggest Pukka Night Time tea. Although very flowery, and not my usual black full bodied, it did take some getting used to at first, but as a sleep aid it is very good, and negates the need for melatonin pills.
