IT’s CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! Officially day one and the societally acceptable day to really start the Christmas. It’s my favorite time of the year so get ready for all the Christmas cheer. Most of what Christmas in this day and age does seem to be capitalistic, but I think that we should migrate a little away from that. I’m not negating buying fuzzy socks or a Grinch onesie, as I do believe that those bring happiness in the darkest of seasons (at least for the Northern Hemisphere.) Living in a new country without family and not many friends (Covid yet again), in an even higher place of latitude, happiness is a necessary component.
This wide brimmed Santa cup, perfect for both tea and a steaming hot chocolate, becomes even cuter with the sloth diffuser. This Christmas black tea from Fortnum and Mason, filled with orange and clove to boot, gives a perfect winter cuppa for the 3:15 sunsets.
